The World Architecture Festival 2019 took place in Amsterdam at the beginning of December. First started in 2008, this is a unique event in the architectural calendar that combines a great variety of interiors; architecture and landscape categories. More than 2000 designers and architects gathered for the three days in Amsterdam for a programme of lectures, exhibitions and award ceremonies.
534 shortlisted projects from 70 countries, are presented in various guises during the event, with the potential winners given 20 minutes each, to present their individual projects in front of the conference audience and a line up of distinguished judges. Categories included best interior; best student work; best drawing; best future building and best architectural drawing.
